At the castle's center, Celia appears to kill Soma's friend Mina Hakuba to force Soma into a rage that will awaken his dark powers. If Soma wears a special talisman given by Mina, he realizes the "Mina" he saw was actually a doppelgänger, preventing his transformation into the Dark Lord.
Celia introduces two "Dark Lord candidates," Dmitrii Blinov and Dario Bossi , who were born on the same day Dracula died and can inherit his power by destroying Soma's soul.
