Hammer(2019) Direct

Elizabeth Hammer's 2019 study, "The City and Landscape of Ur," uses satellite and aerial photography to reveal that the ancient Mesopotamian city was significantly larger than previously understood, spanning 120–500 hectares. The research, published in Iraq , also maps relict watercourses to provide a detailed analysis of the city's ancient hydrology and urban planning. Read the full study at Academia.edu .
