The narrative is set in 1066 Britain, where the King has been captured for ransom while attempting to invade a barbarian land. You play as a commander who, guided by loyal mentors Lord Woolsack and Sir Longarm, must manage resources and lead military campaigns to systematically defeat these lords and restore order to the realm.
